My story...

Growing up, I was always active. I began dancing at a young age, but quickly realized that I was more athletic than anything. I participated in soccer for many years, then moved on to basketball, and finally settled with volleyball. I played volleyball all throughout high school and coached younger girls.

When making the decision on where to continue my education, I chose to study Health & Human Performance - Community Health at the University of Montana. During my second year, I started working at a gym in Missoula, which is where I became friends with a trainer, Lance Fulker. With Lance being a competitive bodybuilder for about 10 years, he suggested I compete in the upcoming contest.

Starting something new...

I started training with my boyfriend, Lance in January of 2013. I traveled with him to the 2013 NPC Emerald Cup to cheer him on as he competed. I was able to experience that contest along with several others during the year. Over the coming seasons, I gained more knowledge about the sport, built my physique as best I could, and increased my strength tremendously.

Lance & I both competed at the 2014 NPC Emerald Cup in Bellevue, WA at the end of April. I placed 2nd in my Open Figure class & 4th in Open Physique! I was thrilled with my physique & everything I learned in the process for my first competition. Lance & I even competed in Mixed Pairs just for fun and took home a 3rd place trophy for that!

Continuing to live my dream...

My placing in the Figure division helped us make the decision to go right to NPC Nationals that November. I took just a couple of months off from strict dieting. I continued to train with Lance every day and kept my diet clean. I practiced my stage presentation continuously and improved the necessary parts of my physique.

Around the same time I began my prep for Nationals, I began my final year as a college student. I was taking 17 credits, working part time at a nutrition retailer, helping Lance prep clients for their competition, and working as a wellness coach. In between all of that, I was spending as much time as I could with our dog, Arlee (a black lab/Chesapeake retriever).

Lance & I traveled to Miami, FL at the end of November. Fast forward to Saturday where I competed in Figure class D, got first in my class & received IFBB Pro status! Competing at that level was so rewarding. I improved what I was working so hard on and also was able to meet some great, inspiring individuals. I couldn't be more grateful for the lady I have become and for the people that have helped me get there.

Always striving for better...

Since becoming a professional competitor, I received my bachelor of science degree in Community Health in May 2015, became a certified Health Coach, and improved our coaching business. Lance and I now offer several health services. Our specialty is contest prep, but do work with anyone and everyone with a health goal in mind. If you are interested in working with us, check out our services offered & contact us on this website!
